The Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct has found Q. Byrum guilty of misconduct on ten (10) separate occasions as set forth in the table below.

Some of the specific misconduct Q. Byrum was found guilty of are as follows:
  1. Failed to respond to repeated telephonic calls from client
  2. Refused to meet with client who was imprisoned across the street from Q. Bynum’s office
  3. Failed to give client reasonable amount of time to retain new counsel before withdrawing
  4. Refused to respond to client’s request to return unearned
  5. Failed to return client files to client after he was discharged
  6. Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client’s interest after being discharged
  7. Failed to comply with mandatory Appeal Court filing rules
  8. Failed to act with reasonable diligence (slacker)
  9. Failed to provide competent legal representation (moron)
Refusing to refund unearned fees
 
Q. Byrum failed to refund unearned fees to several clients and only did so after ethics complaints were filed against him. In one matter he failed to refund $25,000 and in another $2,300 in unearned fees.
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arkansas Supreme Court punished Q. Byrum by gifting him with his sixth (6th) complimentary reprimand.
 
As we speak (ca. October 2012) Q. Byrum practices at 518 Ouachita Avenue in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
