Judge William Moody is yet another ethical dwarf running amuck in Texas.
Texas Election Laws prohibits the conversion of campaign funds for personal use. Engaging in such a conversion of campaign funds is a Class A criminal misdemeanor in Texas.
Despite this well-known prohibition, Judge William Moody spent $497.91 at Best Buy in July 2006 to purchase XM Radio equipment. Judge William Moody followed that up by billing his campaign for XM Satellite Services. Judge William Moody’s illegal expenditures are as follows:
It is patently clear that Judge William Moody had the XM Radio placed in his personal vehicle; therefore, there can be no dispute that he knowingly committed a Class A misdemeanor in converting campaign funds to his own personal use.
Judge William Moody and Nepotism
From October 30 through December 6, 2006, Judge William Moody paid his son Joseph Moody $2,350 for “campaign work” as set forth below.
I’m sure that Joseph worked his fanny off to earn the $2,350 that Judge William Moody gifted to him, right? Only goes to prove that Judge William Moody is the family man he claims to be, right?

During his unsuccessful run for the Texas Supreme Court, Judge William Moody had the chutzpah to put for the following hyperbolic (BS) statements in support of his candidacy.
It’s quite clear from the laughable comments above that Judge William Moody missed his calling as a standup comedian.
