Attorney Vincent Amberly of Arlington, VA; ethical dwarf
The state of Delaware presented Vincent M. Amberly with a law license in 1980. The District of Columbia and the state of Virginia provided Vincent with a law license in 1982 and 2000 respectively
The Delaware Supreme court found Vincent guilty of the following misconduct.
Vincent found it appropriate to knowingly make false statements of fact to a Virginia state court and to an opposing party. Not satisfied to lying to a trial court, Vincent decided to treat the Virginia State Bar investigator to his innate ability at making false statements of fact.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits in Virginia punished Vincent by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.
Under the Delaware Rule of Professional Conduct, Vincent was under a sworn duty to report his misconduct in Virginia to the Delaware Bar Court, which of course he failed to do.
As a consequence of his misconduct, apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Delaware Supreme Court punished Vincent by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license, which was less then the so-called punishment meted out by the Virginia State Bar.
As we speak (ca. October 2012) Vincent practices with Litman Law Ltd. at 3717 Columbia Pike in Arlington, Virginia.
