Judge Raymonde Verreault of Montreal; apologist for pedophiles  Judge Raymonde Verreault is a die-in-the-wool apologist for pedophiles in addition to being a certified ethical and intellectual gnome.
In one matter, Raymonde cited “extenuating circumstances” (aka, hyperbolic vicissitudes) when he handed down a 23-month sentence to a man who had repeatedly sodomized his stepdaughter from the time she was 9 until she was 11.
Raymonde said the 9-year-old did not have any “permanent scars” from the sexual assaults, because the attacker had respected the values of her Muslim faith and had “spared her virginity” by not engaging in vaginal intercourse.
For anyone to assert that a 9-year-old encouraged her stepfather to repeatedly sodomize her is astounding. Moreover, to give credit to a pedophile for sparing the virginity of a 9-year-old under the guise he was respecting her religious beliefs is even more astounding.
The mere thought that this intellectual and ethical misfit weaseled his way onto the bench is truly unfortunate for the good folks in the Montreal area.
