Attorney Dennis Gunther of Arvada, CO; ethical misfit

The state of Colorado presented Dennis Gunther with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the University of Denver Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel found Dennis guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to deposit client funds in client trust account
  2. Failed to pay client medical bills from settlement funds
In one matter, Dennis represented a client (victim) in a slip-and-fall case. After the case was settled, Dennis failed to pay the client’s outstanding medical bills from funds remaining in his trust account. As a result of his conduct, the medical providers had their bills sent to collection, which obviously caused problems with the client’s credit rating.

When the client sued Dennis for legal malpractice he refused to provide the client’s attorney with an acc

ounting of the settlement funds he collected on behalf of the client.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Dennis by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak, (ca. September 2012), Dennis practices with the Law Firm of Dennis H. Gunther at 7910 Ralston Road in Arvada, Colorado which is a suburb of Denver.
