The state of Arkansas provided Thomas Lewis Travis with a law license in 1995.
 
The Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct found Dennis guilty of misconduct on several occasions as set forth below.
 

Thomas’ 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree - 1999
 
Tom received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.
 
Thomas’ 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree - 2003
  1. Failed to provide competent legal services (Dufus)
  2. Failed to respond to client inquires
  3. Failed to act with reasonable diligence on client’s behalf
  4. Failed to respond to disciplinary agency (Up Yours, said Tommy!)
In one matter, Tom was hired by Ms. Harrison to file a claim against her landlord. After a trial on the matter, Tom filed a notice of appeal, but failed to pursue the appeal causing it to be dismissed. Tom also failed to take any action to collect on the money judgment that was awarded to Ms. Harrison and her son.
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct punished Thomas by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.
 
Thomas’ 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree - 2008

  1. Failed to return client files to client after being discharged
  2. Failed to take appropriate steps to prevent client from being damaged after he was discharged
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct punished Thomas by gifting him with another complimentary reprimand.
 
Thomas’ 4th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree - 2011

  1. Failed to act with reasonable diligence (slacker)
  2. Failed to provide competent legal services (Dufus)
  3. Failed to comply with court order
  4. Conduct prejudiced client
In one matter, Tom represented Jose Alvarez-Fierros in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court in Memphis. Tom failed to properly file a Motion to Suppress with the Immigration Court, which caused his client (victim) to be prejudiced.
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct punished Thomas by gifting him with yet another complimentary reprimand.
 
As we speak (ca. September 2012) Thomas practices at 11912 Kanis Road in Little Rock, Arkansas.
