Attorney Randolph Blomberg of Aurora, IL; convicted druggie

The state of Illinois presented Randolph Karl Blomberg with a law license in 1976.

The Disciplinary Commission found Randolph guilty of the following misconduct.

During an undercover investigation of Randolph’s roommate, Richard Cherry, the Batavia, Illinois Police

The Batavia, Illinois Police were involved in an undercover investigation of Randolph’s roommate, Richard Cherry for repeated sales of marijuana. After Cherry’s arrest they discovered that Randolph was his roommate.

While being interviewed by the police, Cherry told them that Randolph supplied him with the Marijuana that he later sold to undercover police. Cherry went on to tell the police that Randolph supplied him with 98% of the marijuana he was selling.

Shortly after the interview with Cherry, the police obtained a search warrant and discovered marijuana in Randolph’s residence, which then led to his immediate arrest. Randolph was charged in a three count indictment for unlawful possession of more than 500 grams of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana, a felony, and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Subsequently, Randolph pleaded guilty one felony count of unlawful possession of marijuana and was sentenced to 30-months of probation and $4,255 in fines and costs.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Randolph by gifting him with a complimentary stayed two-year suspension of his law license. In truth, the comedians sitting on the Supreme Court didn’t mete out any real punishment to Randolph.

As we speak (ca. August 2012) Randolph practices with the Law Offices of Randolph K. Blomberg at 403 West Galena Blvd. in Aurora, Illinois.
