Attorney Bruce A. Brennan of DeKalb, IL; convict

The state of Illinois presented Bruce A. Brennan with a law license in 1986.

The Disciplinary Commission found Bruce guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Committed a criminal act adversely reflecting on his fitness to practice law
  2. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  3. Engaged in conduct tending to bring the courts/legal profession into disrepute
In one matter, Bruce was convicted of driving under the influence (DUI) and was sentenced to one-year of court supervision and fined $680.

In a different matter, Bruce was convicted of possession of cannabis (marijuana) and was sentenced to 18-months of court supervision and fined $500.

As a consequence of his criminal misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Bruce by gifting him a stayed 4-month suspension of his law license. In truth, the comedians on the court didn’t punish Bruce in any significant manner.

As we speak (ca. July 2012) Bruce practices with the Law Office of Bruce A. Brennan at 112 Orchard Lane in DeKalb, Illinois.

WARNING: Bruce does not carry legal malpractice insurance
