Senior Judge Max Bunch of Battle Mountain, NV; slacker

The state of Nevada presented Max Bunch with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from the University of Nevada School of Law.

The Nevada Commission on Judicial Disciplinefound Max guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he employed as Union Township Justice Court in Humboldt County.

  • Failed to comply with the law (scofflaw)
  • Failed to act in promoting the integrity of the judiciary
  • Failed to avoid impropriety or the appearance of impropriety
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to perform judicial duties competently (moron)
  • After conducting a motion to suppress evidentiary hearing, Max didn’t rule on the motion for nearly three (3) years

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Max by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2026), Max practices his so-called brand of the law at 315 South Humboldt Street in Battle Mountain, Nevada.
