Unfortuantely, the State of Kentucky provided Judge Vance Murphy with a license in after she graudated from 

The Judicial Conduct Commission found Judge Judy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Leveraged her judicial influce in handling a persoal matter involving her daughter's boyfriend and mother
• Discussed opening cases with individuals not involved in said cases
• Undermined the independece and impartiality of the judiciary 
• Failed to avoid impropriety or the appearance of inmpropriety 
• Used her smartpone on the bench durinng court session for non-court matters
• Requested a suspended attorney to sign an affidavit stating the attorney did not view her as vindictive
• Failed to act in manner promoting public confidence in the judiciary 

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Kentucky Supreme Court punished Judge Judy by gifting her with a 14-day suspension from the bench.

As we speak (ca. June 2026), Judy practices her so-called brand of jurisprudence as a 29th Judicial Circuit Court Judge in Liberty, Kentucky.
