Attorney Keith Tucker of Glenwood, IA; ethical misfit

The state of Iowa presented Keith Richard Tucker with a law license in 2015 after he graduated from Creighton University School of Law.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Keith guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to comply with our court rules governing trust accounts
  • Failed to promptly return funds from seven client balances that had been inactive for longer than one year, totaling $24,265.17
  • Improperly handled retainer and fee payments, where credit card retainers were first deposited to the operating account
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • failed to comply with our court rules governing trust accounts
  • Improperly deposited credit card retainers into his operating account

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Keith by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2026), Keith practices his so-called brand of law in Glenwood, Iowa.
