Judge Charles Bridges of Greencastle, IN; died in the wool misogynist
The state of Indiana provided Charles D. Bridges with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the Indiana University School of Law.
The Indiana Commission on Judicial Qualifications found Charlie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
In open court, Charlie said the following:
Charlie made the following statements to the woman’s attorney.
In reversing Charlie’s absurd rulings in dismissing the woman’s case, the Indiana Court of Appeals state:
“Charlies statements during the March 8, 2022, pretrial conference went ‘beyond merely expressing skepticism about the woman’s claims in her complaint’ and, instead, ‘clearly expressed disdain, not only for the type of relief that [she] was seeking, but for the gender he believed most often sought this type of relief’.”
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand
Later, the Indiana Court of Appeals ruled that the trial court overseen by Bridges was wrong in dismissing the woman’s case and instead reversed the decision to give the man the money from the home sale.
As we speak (ca, October 2025), Charlies continues to dispense his so-called brand of jurisprudence as a Putnam County Superior Court Judge in Greencastle, Indiana. |
