Attorney Joshua O’Neal of Cullman, AL; slacker, loser

The state of Alabama presented Joshua Milton O’Neal with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from the Birmingham School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Josh guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to communicate with his client
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to provide his client with a copy of the complaint
• Advised his client the stolen vehicle owner’s insurance carrier denied the claim when they were still investigating the matter
• Failed to provide the insurance carrier with requested information
• Failed or refused to discuss settlement despite his client’s request to do so
• Failed to file a claim on his client’s behalf
• Violated or attempted to violate rules of conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engage in conduct that adversely reflects on his fitness to practice law

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Josh by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Josh fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.joshoneallaw.com.  Apparently, he decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. October 2025), Josh practices his so-called brand of law with Josh O'Neal & Associates at 200 2nd Avenue SE in Cullman, Alabama.
