Judge Andrew Sturgess of England; slacker, loser

The Law Society presented Douglas E. Smith with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Essex School of Law.

The Judicial Conduct Investigations Office found Judge Sturgess guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to complete the minimum annual sittings (cases) required of a magistrate
• Failed to engage with his bench chair to discuss the matter of annual sittings
• Failed to sit on any matter for several months
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct Lord Chancellor and the Lord Chief Justice, acting as enablers for Judicial Misfits punished Judge Sturgis by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2024), Andy continues to dispense his so-called version of jurisprudence as a Judge in London, England.
