Judge Michael Slater of England; slacker, loser

The Law Society provided Stephen Clements with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from the University of Essex School of Law.

The Lord Chief Justice and with the Lord Chancellor’s agreement found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to engage in conduct inspiring public confidence in the judiciary
• Failed to display required care in the discharge of his judicial duties
• Engaged in impropriety or the appearance of impropriety

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Lord Chancellor and Lord Chief Justice punished Mikey by gifting him with complimentary formal warning. It’s my understanding that this type of punishment can be very, very painful, especially if it is delivered by the courthouse’s janitor.

As we speak (ca. June 2024), Mikey continues to dispense his so-called idea of jurisprudence as a Justice of the Peace of the Lincolnshire Branch in the United Kingdom.
