Attorney Stephen Wills of Boulder, CO; cheating loser
The state of Colorado provided Stephen S. Wills with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law.
The Colorado State Bar found Stevie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
-
Knowingly converted client funds to his personal use (cheater)
-
Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Stevie!)
-
Failed to explain a matter so as to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation
-
Charged the client an unreasonable fee
-
Commingled client funds with personal funds
-
Failed to seek a tribunal’s permission to withdraw
-
Failed to protect a client’s interests upon termination of the representation
-
Failed to expedite client litigation
-
Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
-
Engages in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
-
Failed to inform a client in writing about the lawyer’s fees and expenses within a reasonable time after being retained
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. August 2024), Stevie practices his so-called brand of law at 595 Canyon Blvd in Boulder, Colorado.
