Attorney Bradley Latta of Hoover, AL; cheating slacker

The state of Alabama and Tennessee presented Bradley James Latta with a law license in 2008 after he graduated from the Birmingham School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Brad guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with his clients
  • Charged and/or attempted to collect an unreasonable fee
  • Failed to act with candor in dealings with trial judge
  • After the client paid a retainer fee of $1,500, brad failed to take substantive action on the client’s behalf as promised
  • Brad attempted to bill his client for pleadings that were never filed (cheater)
  • Engaged in conduct that adversely reflects on his fitness to practice law
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Brad by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2024), Brad practices his so-called brand of law at 1 Chase Corporate Drive in Hoover, Alabama.
