Attorney Cody Jerabek of Cheyenne, WY; slacker, loser

The state of Wyoming presented Cody M. Jerabek with a law license in 2016 after he graduated from the University of Wyoming School of Law.

The Board of Professional Responsibility found Cody guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to maintain communication with his client and with the client’s insurer
• Missed several deadlines in the case, including deadlines to file responses to two critical motions
• Cody misled the insurance company regarding case developments and
• Failed to communicate settlement offers to the client and the insurer
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to act with candor to the court and truthfulness in statements to others
• Improperly entered into a consensual sexual relationship with a client
• Failed to withdraw from the client’s representation promptly upon entering into the sexual relationship
• Cody advised the client to conceal evidence of the sexual relationship

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wyoming Supreme Court punished Cody by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license effective November 1, 2022 and assessed investigative costs of $800.00.

As we speak (ca. January 2025), Cody will resume his so-called brand of law in November 2025 at 2121 East 12^th Street Cheyenne, Wyoming.
