Attorney Cassandra Craven of Cheyenne, WY; slacker, loser

The state of Wyoming presented Cassandra Ann Craven with a law license in 2016 after she graduated from the University of Wyoming School of Law.

The Board of Professional Responsibility found Casie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Revealed harmful confidential information relating to the representation of client in a motion to the Court requesting permission to withdraw from the case
• Cassie delayed filing a divorce action for several months despite client’s repeated requests
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to respond to client question as to whether her husband had been served with the divorce papers
• After Cassie failed to do anything in the client case for nine months, the client terminated the representation
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wyoming Supreme Court punished Casie by gifting her with a complimentary censure and assessed investigative costs of $800.00.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Cassie fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on her self-serving website at www.longhornlawllc.com.  Apparently, she chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting her future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. November 2024), Cassie practices her so-called brand of law with Longhorn Law LLC at 109 East 17th Street in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
