Attorney Christopher Mitchell of Washington DC; convict

The state of Ohio provided Christopher Paul Mitchell with a license in 2004 after he graduated from the University of Akron School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel found Chris guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Convicted for leaving scene of accident involving injury or death, a felony
• Engaged in illegal act that reflects adversely on his honesty, trustworthiness, and fitness to practice law
• Failed to yield the right-of-way and collided with another car causing extensive damage to both vehicles

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Derek by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.
