Attorney Seth Weiss of Englewood, CO; scamming fraudster
The state of Colorado provided Seth Weiss with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law.
The Colorado State Bar found Seth guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
-
Engaged in criminal acts reflecting adversely on honesty and trustworthiness
-
Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
-
Seth made an offer of sale of unregistered securities in violation of Colorado law
-
Seth engaged in securities fraud by making materially false statements and omissions related to Genie Lens’s cash balances
-
Seth used false statements about Genie Lens’s cash position—and omitted mention of the true state of the company’s cash position—in connection with the offer and sale of the two- and three-year promissory notes
-
Seth’s false statements and omissions constituted fraud and deceit
-
The district court found that the notes, which collectively raised $13,296,002.00, were offered and sold to investors while Seth provided overstated balance sheets and without telling investors the actual cash balances of the company
-
The court entered a $13,296,002.00 judgment against Seth for disgorgement, restitution, and damages.
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Seth by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. May2024), Seth practices his so-called brand of law at 3990 South Hudson Way in Englewood, Colorado.
