Attorney Christopher Libertelli of DC; ethical gremlin

The District of Columbia presented Christopher Libertelli with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Boston University School of Law.  

The DC Bar Counsel found Chris guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct in the D.C. disciplinary proceeding involving dishonesty, fraud deceit, and/or misrepresentation;
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct in the D.C. disciplinary proceeding that seriously interfered with the administration of justice in the D.C. proceeding
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
• Engaged in giving perjured testimony
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Knowingly made false statements of fact in connection with a D.C. disciplinary matter
• Knowingly offered evidence that they knew to be false and/or failed to take reasonable remedial measures after offering materially false evidence

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the  DC Bar Counsel punished George by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2024), Chris practices his so-called brand of law at 1455 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, DC.
