Attorney Brittany Jennings of DC; ethical misfit

The District of Columbia presented Brittany E. Jennings with a law license in 2017 after she graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Law.

The DC Bar Counsel found Brittany of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to communicate with her client at any point in her representation of an immigration matter
  • Failed to advise client of her decision to file a motion to withdraw representation of the client
  • Failed to protect client’s interest
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Bar Counsel punished Brittany by gifting her with a complimentary admonition.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Brittany and her firm fail to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.motionlaw.com. Apparently, they decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients to assure that they would not limit her future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. May 2024), Brittany practices her so-called brand of law with Motion Law at 20 F Street NW in Washington, DC.
