Attorney Meihuei Hu of Brookline, MA; scammer, repeater

The state of Massachusetts presented Meihuei Hu with a law license in 2002 after she graduated from Seattle University School of Law. Hu also received a license to practice in the state of Washington in 1998.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Hu guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

FYI: This wasn’t Hu’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. She previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

• Submitted affidavit to court with the signature and date on it that she knew to be false and misleading when she offered the affidavit to the court
• Hu knew for a fact that the mother had signed her son’s name to the affidavit submitted to the trial court
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
• Offered evidence she knew to be false

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Hu by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.  

And lastly, as one would suspect, Hu fails to mention the above misconduct on her self-serving website at www.hulaw.net. Apparently, she chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting her future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. September 2024), Hu practices her so-called brand of law with the Law Offices of Meihuei Hu at 251 Harvard Street in Brookline, Massachusetts.
