Judge Scott Norrick of Anderson, IN; slacker, loser

Unfortunately, the state of Indiana provided Scott A. Norrick with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from Indiana University School of Law.  

The Montana Supreme Court and Judicial Standards Commission is investigating Debbie for engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a pattern of failing to adequately supervise court staff
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Negligence led to cases being dismissed due to timely action not being taken by the court
• There were approximately 40 criminal cases with missing entries and orders
• Missing entries included failures to set jury trial dates, failures to accurately update warrants and failures to include information about what transpired at certain hearings and whether future hearings were needed in a case
• Approximately 16 criminal cases were dismissed as a result of these missing entries and orders
• A sex offender who failed to register but ended up having his case dismissed due to not being tried in a timely manner
• Scotty presided over cases in which his son appeared as a legal counsel
• Failure to properly supervise staff led to an ex parte (one-sided) custody order being issued that did not comply with the requirements of Trial Rule 65(B)
• Failed to comply with speedy trial deadlines

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Scotty by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. April 2024), Scotty continues to dispense his so-called idea of jurisprudence as a Madison County Court judge in Anderson, Indiana.
