Attorney Daniel Chambers of Vestavia Hills, AL; ethical goblin

The state of Alabama and Tennessee presented Daniel Houston Chambers with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from Samford University School of Law. 

The Alabama State Bar Association found Danny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with candor toward trial judge
• Put forth contentions that were meritless
• Failed to act fairly when dealing with opposing party and counsel
• Pursued claims that lacked merit
• Failed to respect the rights of third persons
• Improperly obtained privileged communications between another lawyer and her client during a divorce proceeding
• Danny failed to notify opposing counsel he had possession of the confidential and privileged emails
• Rather then alert opposing counsel to his possession of confidential material, Danny used these emails to shape his client’s litigation strategy and to gain an unfair advantage in the proceedings

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Danny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Danny fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.danielchamberslaw.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. April 2024), Danny practices his so-called brand of law with Daniel H. Chambers, Attorney at Law PC at 2081 Columbiana Road in Vestavia Hills, Alabama.
