Attorney Richard Dail of Thomasville, NC; thieving loser

The state of North Carolina presented Richard T. Dail with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Misappropriated [stole] client funds (thief)
  • Committed criminal acts of embezzlement
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Provided cleint with ledger and invoice misrepresenting amount of funds Dick had taken belonging to his client
  • Made improper disbursements from his trust account attributed to clients for whom he had no funds in his trust account at the time
  • Failed to maintain in trust entrusted funds for clients for whom he should have had funds in his trust account
  • Failed to properly maintain and disburse entrusted funds
  • Failed to conduct required monthly and quarterly reviews and reconciliations of his trust account
  • Failed to maintain all trust account records mandated by relevant Rules of Professional Conduct

All that remains is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Dick by the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar.

As we speak (ca. March 2024), Dick practices his so-called brand of law at 1595 Upper Lake Road in Thomasville, North Carolina.
