Former Judge John Rosson of Knoxville, TN; ethical dwarf

The state of Tennessee presented John Robert Rosson with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee School of Law.

FYI: Johnny has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past thirty-six (36) years. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Knoxville area was about to offer Johnny a good paying job.

TheBoard of Judicial Conduct found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Knowingly breached Code of Judicial Conduct after hosting a press conference for his reelection campaign inside the municipal courtroom
  • Levered his judicial office for his own personal purposes
  • Engaged in impropriety or the appearance of impropriety
  • Failed to act in manner promoting public confidence in the judiciary

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Conduct Board punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2024), Johnny practices his so-called version of the law at 615 Market Street in Knoxville, Tennessee.
