Attorney C. P. Burro of Somers Point, NJ; slacker, loser

The state of New Jersey presented C. P. Burro with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from Temple University School of Law. Burro also obtained a license to practice in Pennsylvania in 1979 and Florida in 1983.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Burro guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in gross neglect of client matter
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep the client reasonably informed about the status of the matter
  • Failed to promptly comply with reasonable requests for information
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Burro!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Burro by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2024), Burro practices his so-called brand of law at 564 Shore Road in Somers Point, New Jersey.
