Attorney Preston Kerr of Henderson, NV; ethical gremlin

The state of Nevada presented Preston Sterling Kerr with a law license in 1990 after he graduated Brigham Young University (BYU) School of Law.

The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Preston guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest involving current clients
  • Failed to advise clients in writing about potential conflict of interest
  • Was negligent in determining whether the representation of a client would materially affect Preston’s personal interests
  • Caused injury or potential injury to his clients
  • Failed to obtain written consent from clients regarding the conflict of interest

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Preston by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Preston fails to mention the above misconduct on his self-serving website at www.sterlingkerrlaw.com. Apparently, she chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting her future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. March 2024), Preston practices his so-called brand of law with Kerr Simpson Attorneys at Law at 2900 Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson, Nevada.
