Attorney Wayne Autry of Newark, NJ; ethical leprechaun

The state of New Jersey presented Wayne A. Autry with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Rutgers University School of Law.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Wayne’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand d for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Wayne guilty of engaging in the following misconduct

  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Wayne!)
  • Failed to appear for a demand audit
  • Failed to file required affidavit following temporary suspension of law license

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Wayne by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2024), Wayne practices his so-called brand of law in Newark, New Jersey.
