Administrative Law Judge Mark Grant of Detroit, MI; ethical troll

The state of Michigan presented Mark S. Grant with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from Michigan State University School of Law.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #68 found Mark guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to perform services for which he was retained
  • Failed to respond to client inquiries
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Mark!)
  • Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Engaged in conduct that is prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed investigative costs in the amount $1,658.48.

As we speak (ca. March 2024), Mark practices his so-called brand of jurisprudence as an Administrative Judge with MOAHR at 3026 West Grand Blvd in Detroit, Michigan.
