Attorney Joseph Costello of Staten Island, NY; thieving loser

The state of New York presented Joseph Richard Costello with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Cooley School of Law.

FYI: This isn’t Joey’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received three (3) complimentary letters of caution for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

The Appellate Division Grievance Committee found Geoffrey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Misappropriated (stole) funds entrusted to him as a fiduciary (thief)
• Failed to maintain the required bookkeeping records for his attorney escrow accounts
• Failed to maintain accurate records of all deposits in and withdrawals from his attorney escrow accounts
• Failed to accurately record the date, source, and description of each deposited item, as well as the date, payee
• Failed to disclose purpose of each withdrawal or disbursement

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license. 

And lastly, as one would suspect, Joey makes no mention of his misconduct as set forth above on his self-serving website at www.mvpclaw.com. Apparently, Joey decided to conceal this information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. February 2024), Joey practices his so-called brand of law with Menicucci Villa Cilmi PLLC at 2040 Victory Blvd in Staten Island, New York.
