Attorney Cody Watson of Ottawa, CAN; convicted felon

The Law Society of Upper Canada presentedCody Lang Watson with a law license in 2019 after he graduated from the University of Ottawa School of Law.

The Disciplinary Hearing Panel for the Law Society of Ontario found Cody guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

In one matter, Cody pleaded guilty in the US to the felony charge of making a false statement to a federal agent while being investigated by US immigration authorities for violating the terms of his work visa.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society punished Cody by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Cody and his firm fail to mention the above misconduct on their self-serving website at www.connollyobagi.com. Apparently, they chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting their future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. January 2024), Cody practices his so-called brand of law with Connolly Obagi LLP at 1100-200 Elgin Street in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
