Solicitor Luis Batalha of New South Wales, AUS; ethical gremlin

The Victoria Law Society presented Luis Batalha with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from the University of New South Wales School of Law.

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal found Louie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in unsatisfactory Professional Conduct
• Breached trust account provisions
• Released trust funds without authority
• Misappropriated client trust funds
• Transferred client funds to personal account on multiple occasions

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Administrative Council punished Louie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2024), Louie practices his so-called brand of law with Batallion Legal Proprietary Limited at 6 Karloo Parade in New South Wales, Australia.
