Attorney Joseph Asterita of Red Bank, NJ; ethical dwarf

The state of New Jersey presented Joseph John Asterita with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from the Brooklyn School of Law. Joey also obtained a license to practice law in New York in 2000.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Joey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a concurrent conflict of interest
• Engaged in an improper business transaction
• Engaged in an imputed conflict of interest

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Joey fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website awww.bonfiglioasteritalaw.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.
