U.S. Appeal Judge Morgan Christen of Anchorage, AK; incompetent boob

The state of Alaska provided Morgan Christen with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the University of Denver School of Law.

FYI: President Obama was duped into appointing Morgan as a judge on the U.S. 9^th Circuit Court of Appeals in Anchorage in 2012. Morgan didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified jurist and/or attorney in Alaska. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

Morgan’s incompetence took place while he was sitting as a Third Judicial District Court judge in Anchorage.

In one matter, Morgan was assigned to sit on a case involving a litigant who sued over denial of Workers’ Compensation benefits.

During the pendency of the litigation, Morgan the Moron (M&M) ruled in favor of the Worker’s Compensation Board that determined that Ms. Thoeni forfeited her benefits when she refused to travel 2500 miles from her home to attend an employer's independent medical examination even though a physician was available in her hometown to conduct the examination.

As one would suspect, Morgan’s ignorant ruling in upholding the Worker’s Compensation Board’s 2,500-mile trip was overruled by the Court of Appeal.

And lastly, it goes without saying that Morgan didn’t much care when he’s overturned (rebuked in truth) by the appellate court since he fully understands no Alaskan judge had ever been tossed off the bench for being an incompetent boob.

As we speak (ca. December 2023), Morgan continues to dispense his so-called brand of jurisprudence as a Judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth District in Anchorage, Alaska.
