Attorney Lonnie Carraway of Snow Hill, NC; serial drunken convict

The state of North Carolina presented Lonnie W. Carraway with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Lonnie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Drove a vehicle while under the influence of an impairing substance on two occasions between June 2019 and June 2020
• Pled guilty to two counts of driving while impaired
• Had previously been convicted of driving while impaired in February 2012

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Lonnie by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Grievance Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Lonnie.

As we speak (ca. December 2023) Lonnie practices his so-called brand of law at 109 SE 2^nd Street in Snow Hill, North Carolina.
