Former Judge Paul Olson of Anchorage, AK; ethical dwarf

The state of Alaska provided Paul E. Olson with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from the South Texas University School of Law.

The Judicial Tenure Commission found Paulie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as Anchorage Superior Court judge.

  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice e
  • Failed to avoid impropriety or the appearance of impropriety
  • Undermined the ability of the justice system to discover the truth of what took place in a legal controversy
  • Engaged in unequal application of justice on the basis of race, color, ethnic background, gender, or religion
  • Failed to avoid impropriety or the appearance of impropriety

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alaska Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. March 2024), Paulie practices his so-called brand of law at 2129 Saratoga Avenue in Anchorage, Alaska.
