Attorney Jeffery Metler of Provo, UT; liar, repeat offender

The state of Wyoming provided Jeffery C. Metler with a law license in 2010 after he graduated from the University Law School. Jeffrey also received a license to practice in the District of Columbia and Utah.

FYI: This isn’t Jeff’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary private reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

The Board of Professional Responsibility found Jeff guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Made a false or misleading communication about his legal services
• Made a material misrepresentation of fact or law, or omitted a fact necessary to make the statement considered
• as a whole not materially misleading
• Jeff purchased several advertisements in the Sweetwater County telephone directory which indicated that he was “recently seen in Forbes magazine as THE leading personal injury lawyer in the Central United States”

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wyoming Carolina Supreme punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary censure and assessed investigative costs of $800.00.

As we speak (ca. November 2023), Jeff practices his so-called brand of law with MacArthur Hedler & Metler at 4844 North 300 West in Provo, Utah.
