Attorney Eugene Cyrus of Chugiak, AK; moronic slacker

The state of Alaska provided Eugene B. Cyrus with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the University of Alaska School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Gene guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected client matters
• Made an objectively misleading statement in a notarized pleading to the court
• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Failed to expedite client litigation
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Gene!)
• Failed to communicate with his client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Alaska Supreme Court punished Gene by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license and assessed investigative costs of $1,000.00.

As we speak (ca. November 2023), Gene practices his so-called brand of in Chugiak, Alaska.
