Attorney John Manning of Milton, MA; lying loser

The state of Massachusetts presented John J. Manning with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from the New England School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Made numerous misrepresentations to his employer
• Disobeyed instructions of his supervisors to send a letter to potential clients, advising them that the firm had decided not to represent them in a malpractice case resulting in death (Screw you, said Johnny!)
• Intentionally misrepresented to the clients that his firm was continuing to represent them
• Failed to notify clients that his firm had terminated him
• Failed after the firm terminated him, to notify the clients that he had been terminated and would no longer be working on their matter
• Failed to notify his firm about status of the client matter during his departure
• Failed to respond to the firm’s post-departure questions about the client file
• For two years, until he was fired, Johnny falsely led the clients to believe he was in the process of requesting and receiving medical records from the medical providers and evaluating the merits of their case
• Johnny never requested or obtained medical records, or did any work of substance to evaluate the client’s case
• After he was fired, Johnny never told the clients that he was no longer employed by the firm, that he would no longer be working on the matter, or that they had no legal representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.    

As we speak (ca. November 2023), Johnny practices his so-called brand of law with the Keches Law Group in Milton, Massachusetts.
