Former Judge Theodore Abrams of Tucson, AZ; bullying pervert

Unfortunately, the state of Arizona provided Theodore C. Abrams with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the University of Arizona School of Law.

The Judicial Conduct Commission found Teddy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as a Tucson City Court Magistrate Judge

  • Harassed an assistant public defender
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Victim of Teddy’s misconduct was vulnerable
  • Retaliated against attorneys practicing in cases before him
  • A public defender who had recently passed the state bar exam was subjected to unwanted and unsolicited contact of a sexual nature by Teddy
  • Teddy made "implicit and explicit comments, particularly via cellphone voice and text messages

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Teddy by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license. Teddy also agreed to never seek another judicial office in Arizona for the balance of his life.

As we speak (ca. November 2023), Teddy practices his so-called brand of law in Tucson, Arizona.
