Former Judge Glenn Berman of Roseland, NJ; biased loser

The state of New Jersey presented Glenn J. Berman with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from Case Western University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio.

Complaints were put forth by two (2) separate parties claiming that Glenn engaged in the following misconduct, all of which took place while Glenn was a Judge on the Vicinage 8 Superior Court in Brunswick, New Jersey.

Complaint No. 1

  • Alleges that Glenn was biased in favor of a 27-year-old female family law attorney who was involved in a custody-support case against a 19-year-old college-bound student
  • Claims that Glenn set a child support order at a level inconsistent with the non-custodial parent/student's earnings
  • Glenn ignored the non-custodial parent/student's request for a court-appointed attorney although he was aware that the other party in the case was a family law attorney
  • Glenn verbally abusive and told non-custodial parent student he had " no right to an education"

Complaint No. 2

  • Glenn created a conflict of interest in a divorce case by knowingly placing himself on a case where a friend and sister of a fellow judge was involved
  • Alleges that Glenn dispensed an unfair settlement in the case by ordering the highest amount of child support and alimony against the ex-husband
  • Glenn awarded ex-wife two-thirds of their house
  • Glenn provided the ex-wife "every advantage" in court because of his involvement with his fellow judge

As one would suspect, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct never took any action against Glenn for the claimed misconduct set forth above.

As we speak (ca. December 2023), Glenn practices his so-called brand of law with Greenbaum Rowe Smith & Davis LLP at 75 Livingston Avenue in Roseland, New Jersey.
