Former Judge Dorothy Encinias of Moriarty, NM; ethical misfit

The New Mexico Judicial Standards Commission found Dorothy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while she was a Moriarty Municipal Court Judge.

• Failed to resign her position as Municipal judge when she declared he candidacy for the position of Torrance County Commissioner

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the New Mexico Supreme Court punished Dorothy by gifting her with a complimentary censure and further agreed to resign from her judicial office.

As we speak (ca. December 2023), it is rumored that Dorothy has an application pending for a job as a bathroom attendant at the Walmart Supercenter Store at 66 State Road in Edgewood, New Mexico.
