Former Judge Craig Kamansky of Irvine, CA; ethical troll

The state of California presented Craig Stephen Kamansky with a law license in 1973 after she graduated from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).

FYI: Former Gov. George Deukmejian was duped into appointing Craig as a San Bernardino County Superior Court Judge in 1986. Johnny didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater San Bernardino area. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

The California Commission on Judicial Performance found Craig guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was sitting as a San Bernardino Superior Court Judge.

  • When asked by ethics investigators to turn over certain videotapes, Craig did so only after deliberately taping over them
  • When asked by investigators about the altered videotapes, the Craig repeatedly denied he did so
  • When presented with contrary evidence proving her deliberately taped over the videotapes, Craig admitted his misrepresentations (lies)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct bringing the judiciary into disrepute
  • Craig’s misconduct was knowingly and intentionally committed in bad faith

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Craig by gifting him with a complimentary reproval.

And lastly, as one would suspect, IVAMS Mediation & Arbitration fails to disclose the misconduct of Craig on its self serving website at www.ivams.coom/neutrals/.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Kamansky.pdf.

As we speak (ca. November 2023), Craig practices his so-called brand of law with IVAMS Mediation & Arbitration at 1813 Sky Park Circle in Irvine, California.
