Attorney Barry Bohmueller of Harleysville, PA; ethical troll

The state of Pennsylvania presented Barry O. Bohmueller with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Temple University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Barry guilty of engaging in the following misconduct

• Failed to abide by the client’s decisions concerning the scope and objectives of the representation
• Improperly divided a fee between lawyers not in the same firm
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Ordered or ratified another lawyers unethical conduct
• Assisted a non-lawyer in the illegal practice of law
• Compensated or gave something of value to a person to recommend the Barry’s employment by a client or as a reward for having made a recommendation resulting in Barry employment by the client
• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Barry by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2023), Barry practices his so-called brand of law with the Bohmueller Law Offices PC at 29 Main Street in Harleysville, Pennsylvania.
