Judge Patrick Flynn of Troy, MO; slacker, loser

The state of Missouri provided Patrick Flynn with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from St. Louis University School of Law.

FYI: Former Gov. Jay Nixon was duped into appointing Patty as a Circuit Court Judge in January 2014. Patty didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Lincoln County area. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

The Commission on Retirement, Removal and Discipline of Judges found Patty guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Involved in at least five (5) cases wherein he failed to timely file responses beyond 90 days
• Failed to issue rulings in two cases for more than two years
• Demonstrated negligent disobedience to mandatory directives or, at worst, an avoidance of divulging the cases pending for unacceptable periods of time
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Ethics investigators found Patty’s defense unacceptable
• Held in contempt of court for violating court’s orders
• Failed to submit semi-annual reports as required

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Missouri Supreme Court punished Patty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2023), Patty continues to dispense his so-called brand of jurisprudence as a 45^th Circuit Court Judge in Troy, Missouri.
