Attorney Tracy Hunt of New Hope, PA; ethical gremlin

The state of Pennsylvania provided Tracy Paul Hunt with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Widener University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Tracy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to complete mandated Continuing Legal Education (CLE) classes
  • Failed to comply with repeated notices from CLE Board (Up yours, said Tracy!)
  • Failed to timely file verified Statement of Compliance with Disciplinary Board within 10 days after his law license was suspended
  • Engaged in the illegal practice of law while license was suspended in three client matters over the time frame of seven months
  • Failed in his duty to promptly notify Ms. Troyan and Ms. Sell that his license was suspended

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Tracy by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Tracy fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.begleycarlin.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. September 2023), Tracy practices his so-called brand of law with Begley, Carlin & Mandio LLP at 123 West Bridge Street in New Hope, Pennsylvania.
