Attorney Adam Zickerman of Flagstaff, AZ; ethical troll

The state of Arizona presented Adam Zickerman with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from Western Michigan Cooley University School of Law.

The Arizona State Bar found Adam guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Violated trust account rules by failing to account for funds
  • Failed to maintain required trust account records
  • While dealing with law enforcement authorities about suspected criminal activity at his firm, Adam improperly revealed confidential and sealed information to the police department regarding some of the law firm’s representations
  • Failed to properly supervise his former associate during her tenure with the law firm
  • Failed to visit his incarcerated client for several months
  • One day, while Adam requested and saw two other clients, he did not try to visit the incarcerated client
  • Sent client a false e-mail stating he tried to visit the incarcerated client
  • After being appointed appellate counsel, Adam failed to communicate with the client
  • While Adams’ billing records reflect numerous discussions between his client and the paralegal, Adam had no direct conversations with the client
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Failed to properly supervise office underlings
  • Failed to decline/terminate representation when required to so act
  • Failed to inform his client of his appellate rights
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Adam by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed investigative costs of $1,440.00.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Adam fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.zickermanlaw.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. September 2023), Adam practices his so-called practice of law with The Zickerman Law Office PLLC at 20 East Cherry Avenue in Flagstaff, Arizona.
